fTracker
rework with confidence

What Is The fTracker System?

Based on over a decade of experience in mass flashing for a number of customers worldwide we have created an online tracking system. It allows managers and lead engineers to request a new flashing activity simply by raising an fTracker. Anyone added to this fTracker will immediately benefit from access to the real time progress status of the ongoing rework activity.

Track Progress In Real Time

After raising an fTracker you will be able to access a dashboard consisting of a project summary and a comprehensive progress status report. This information will also be available to other collaborators within the scope of the given fTracker. This way there is no confusion in regards to harnesses, tools, the parts location and availability, software levels used, flashing process sheets, labeling or quality checks. Furthermore you will be able to check the status of every single flashed part identified by a serial number in real time.

Contemporary Quality Management

Human error is an inevitable factor in all engineering activities. The fTracker system forces flashing engineers to strictly follow the defined process, but that's not all! The fTracker web application communicates with a hardware PID checker module used to verify predefined diagnostics responses for every single part before the serial number is entered into the database. Additionally original part numbers are being constantly compared with the scanned labels for duplicates and/or labeling typos. Wrongly labeled, un-flashed and un-checked parts are being flagged up immediately. With the fTracker the quality is achieved through a solid work process and advanced automation.

Flashing Made Easy

The simple and intuitive wizard lets you input all relevant information needed to facilitate any flashing activity. All you need to do is provide some details about the quantity and location of parts, upload the relevant software files and the flashing team will be on their way! If required, you can also create a template for the desired part label, upload specific process instructions, define diagnostics information to verify successful download etc. What if you do not have all this information? No problem - simply add a collaborating engineer to provide further details! After raising an fTracker you will be given access to a dashboard with a project summary as well as a comprehensive progress status report. This information will also be available to other collaborators.

Accessible & Secure

Because fTracker is a web based application you can use it anywhere in the world. It has been optimized for most common internet access devices from your personal computer in the office to a mobile phone. Access is easy and secured via a shared link so you will not need to remember any passwords, but at the same time you can rest assured that no confidential information leaves the collaboration circle. fTracker uses fast and secure servers based in the UK.

Intuitive & Reliable

One of the biggest advantages of the fTracker system is keeping everyone on the same page. In fact this is an actual web page and it is called an fTracker dashboard. All collaborators added to the fTracker can view the same information and if given full access also edit it (the history of any changes is tracked). Software files and download scripts added to the project are accessed only by the flashing team via secured connection and CRC checked for any errors before any flashing activity starts.

24/7 Support

The critical nature of flashing activities due to related production line risks often requires working on very tight schedules. On many occasions flashing around the clock is required and plans can change at very short notice in order to avoid putting production at risk. Effective communication between the client and the flashing team is essential in these circumstances. The fTracker system provides constant access to all relevant information as well as a 24/7 contact number for any emergencies.

Online Reports

Don't worry about chasing flashing reports - you already have them! Everything is available in real time (including specific information about parts that failed and a full list of successfully flashed modules with serial numbers, the exact time and date of the software download and any other information relevant to you). Furthermore the report also lists unique fTracker box numbers helping to locate the part in stores and even on production racks just before it is fitted to the vehicle.
